**Tollestrup Construction Inc**. has been operating within the construction industry since 1940. We mine and manufacture several different types of sand and rock products, while providing concrete aggregates, asphalt related products and services; such as road building, paving, road reclamation, profiling and concrete.

Tollestrup Construction is seeking an experienced **Foreman** to join our new Utility Department in Lethbridge, Alberta.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience and knowledge of underground utilities.
- Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Must have extensive equipment operating experience.
- Must obtain Class 5 Drivers License.
- Excellent communication skills to guide and develop staff and deal promptly with public inquiries and contractor groups.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of all relevant bylaws, policies, and OH&S legislation.
- Current 1st Aid and WHMIS.
- Ability to learn new technology and software.
- Self-motivated and goal orientated.
- Completion of a Supervisor Training Program is considered an asset.

**Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Executing project plans, scheduling, and ensuring that projects/jobs are completed correctly and meeting all required deadlines.
- Communication with all parties, co-workers, consultants, trades, and or sub-trades.
- Communication to all utility representatives, when required.
- Supervision of assigned crew.
- Operate heavy equipment, and other construction duties, when needed.
- Any other tasks that may be relevant to the position.
