**Overview**
The Utility Worker plays a vital role in supporting various operational tasks within the construction and maintenance sectors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively assist in multiple areas, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. The Utility Worker will work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain high standards of quality control and adherence to project specifications.

**Duties**:

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites, ensuring all materials and tools are organized and accessible.
- Support project teams by performing tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and maintaining equipment.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and report any discrepancies.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with supervisors to interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans for effective execution of tasks.
- Engage in budgeting activities by assisting in estimating material costs and labor requirements for projects.
- Operate tools and machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols on-site.
- Maintain effective communication with team members regarding project updates and any issues that may arise.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong supervisory skills to guide less experienced workers effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise execution of tasks.
- Experience in construction estimating to assist with budgeting efforts on projects.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- A solid understanding of building processes and materials used in construction projects.
