**The Opportunity**:
Administrative Support *Contract

As a member of the District Operations Team, the administrator will report directly to the Manager - District Service Line, and work in a support role alongside our base District Administrator. This contract position will be located at our district office in Acheson, AB. The primary function of this position is to provide administrative support to our District Administrator, who oversees all administrative functions associated with the district management team, field-based employees, and maintenance employees.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage the reception desk in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist the District’s onboarding process (New Employee Orientation) for new employees
- Manage booking and attendance of all defined training requirements for district personnel
- Manage & maintain a Safety certificate spreadsheet, work with employee files
- Answer phones & direct calls, filing, order / maintain office supplies, calling couriers
- Scanning / uploading documents, data entry, creating shipping documents etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Minimum 3 years' administrative experience**:

- **Prior Oil & Gas administrative experience an asset**:

- **Administrative experience with Fleet Maintenance a significant asset**:

- Front desk and/or reception experience, combined with professional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; **Excel knowledge is a requirement**:

- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with senior level management
- Ability to learn new computer programs and software quickly
- Good understanding of oilfield terminology is considered an asset
