BEING Studio is a nonprofit arts organization based in Ottawa that supports artists with developmental disabilities. We provide opportunities through programming for artists to develop their creative practice, participate in workshops, and share their work with the community through exhibitions and events.

**Position Overview**
BEING Studio is seeking a Part-Time Administrator to support daily operations and keep administrative tasks organized. This role focuses on entering and maintaining data, supporting financial processes, managing records, and performing general office tasks. The work is practical, steady, and directly contributes to keeping the studio’s programs running smoothly.
This position has the potential to grow over time as the organization’s needs expand, offering opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and contribute more broadly to studio operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Enter financial data in QuickBooks, including payables, receivables, and monthly program fees
- Track payments, deposits, and invoices
- Maintain up-to-date artist and staff records
- Prepare basic bookkeeping entries to support reporting and audits - Assist with audit documentation and follow-up
- Support payroll preparation with accurate data entry
- Administrate staff user accounts and provide basic IT support/troubleshooting
- Perform one in-studio day per week (3-4 hours) to handle onsite administrative tasks such as mail, filing, and organizing materials
**Qualifications**
- Experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, or similar roles
- Familiar with QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and basic office software (or willing to learn)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly
- Professional and reliable work approach
