Villa Marconi Centre is seeking a Part-Time Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual with accounting experience to contribute to the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office organization and administration
  • Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks using management/accounting software
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and financial procedures
  • Provide administrative support to management and staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial management systems
  • Proficiency in accounting or management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous administrative or bookkeeping experience required

Preferred:

  • Retired accounting or finance professionals are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or community-based organizations is an asset
  • Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule
  • This role is ideal for a retired professional looking to continue contributing their skills in a meaningful way while maintaining work-life balance.
