**Job Summary**
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking **Kitchen Hand / Porter** to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen — helping with loading and unloading vehicles, cleaning, organization, and general support for chefs and cooks.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with basic prep tasks as needed, such as: washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, etc.
- Receive and store deliveries safely and efficiently
- Move heavy items, and assist with loading and unloading vehicles for off-site catering events
- Support chefs and kitchen staff by organizing ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Help with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service periods.

**Experience** **and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment an asset, but not required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
- Comfortable **lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs)**:

- Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: $19.50 per hour
