**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Student to join our team as a Non-destructive Test Technician. As a non-destructive test technician, you will be responsible for testing materials, products, and components of conveyor belts using non-destructive testing techniques to identify any defects or irregularities. You will also be responsible for assisting with routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment (Xray).

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conducting inspections and tests on conveyor belts and equipment to ensure their functionality and safety.
- Conducting in-depth investigations on the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system in belts and developing detailed instruction procedures.
- Interpreting test results and preparing comprehensive reports on findings.
- Developing documentation on X-ray use, storage, transport, and maintenance.
- Ensuring the Ultrasonic cover thickness tester is operational and available for the sales team.
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Assisting with routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

**Requirements - Education, Training & Experience.**
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to non-destructive testing, engineering, or a related field.
- Able to work safely with X-Ray (Radiographic Equipment);
- Possess training in Quality Assurance, an asset.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret test results accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Able to travel to perform work as required.
- Able to work at heights, with no lifting restrictions.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
