**Job Summary**:
**Ontario Tech University is recruiting up to five casual Test Centre Support staff to help the Test Centre team during peak assessment periods. Reporting to the Manager, Test Centre & Integrated Services, you will support room set-up, help print and organize exam materials, and assist with preparing approved accommodations for students registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS).

**Nature of work**:
**Working closely with students, faculty, and staff, you will support the Test Centre team in maintaining a barrier-free testing environment. The role demands a clear understanding of the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and the potential impact disabilities can have on post-secondary participation and success.

**Responsibilities/accountabilities**:

- **Provide logístical support to the Test Centre team during peak exam periods, assisting with room set-up, exam-material preparation, secure filing and transport of completed papers, and other routine tasks as requested
- Help enforce Test Centre protocols by securing exam files, completing shift paperwork, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting overall exam integrity
- Work variable shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as operational demand requires

**Required Experience**:

- At least one year of front-line customer service or administrative support in an educational, testing, or a similar secure environment
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive documents (e.g., exams, medical or accessibility records) under strict procedures
- Familiarity with post-secondary testing and accommodation processes (e.g., invigilation, exam booking, room setup, and delivery of approved accommodations)
- Working knowledge of human-rights and accessibility legislation (Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA)
- Previous experience working in an accommodated Test Centre is an asset
- Previous experience with accommodated-exam booking software (e.g., ClockWork or AIM) is an asset

**Required Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing, tracking, and securing exam materials
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills for quickly addressing exam-room issues within protocol
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; able to handle multiple tasks under strict deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication with a professional, neutral demeanor toward students, faculty, and colleagues
- Proficiency with common office software (Word, Excel, databases) and willingness to learn assistive-technology formats (e.g., Kurzweil, Read&Write)
- Ability to follow detailed procedures consistently while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Team-oriented mindset with capacity to work independently when required
- Flexibility to work variable hours and travel between campuses

**Required Education**:

- Completion of post-secondary school program
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered
- Verification of Academic credentials may be required
