The hotel is currently recruiting for a Host. The Host is responsible for welcoming guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver exceptional Guest experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**

**_ Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you _**_would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the _**_highest standards: _**
- Greeting and seating guests, and presenting the various breakfast choices;
- Interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner;
- Answering the phone and taking restaurant reservations;
- Expedite room service orders for guest pick-up;
- Set up and oversee lobby beverage station;
- Restocking supplies and keeping the work area clean;
- Help to set and clear tables as needed; ensure buffet is fresh and stocked;
- Ensure the bar area and lounge is clean and tidy;
- Assist in other areas of F&B as determined by management.

**What We are Looking for...**
- Positive attitude and EXCELLENT customer service skills;
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills;
- Able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds and bend for up to 8 hours;
- Excellent grooming standards;
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts that may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Experience in Food and Beverage department and/or hospitality industry;
- Knowledge of Micros, Lightspeed, or other POS systems;
- Smart Serve.

**Newly renovated property located near Union Station and the St. Lawrence Market. Cafe Nicole will be serving our Guests with Breakfast in our restuarant located on the main floor of the hotel.**
