The Commoner team is growing Located in Toronto’s busy and trendy Dundas W.

We are looking for talented, hungry industry professionals to build our team. If you are passionate about the restaurant industry, personable, creative and team focused we invite you to apply

You will be the first point of contact for our guests, being responsible for greeting upon arrival and seating throughout the restaurant. Knowledge of open table would be considered an asset.

**Restaurant Host Skills & Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a host in a comparable restaurant environment is considered an asset
- Smart Serve Certification is considered an asset
- Available to work all restaurant operating hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of personal computers or ability to acquire appropriate-level skill using computers and restaurant software
- Team based attitude

Applicants who do not already have legal permission to work in Canada will not be considered. Special consideration will be given to applicants with previous restaurant experience

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
