The HotHouse is a 25-year-old restaurant in the heart of Toronto’s St Lawrence Market District. It is a
busy community, popular priced, food-first restaurant that serves its community. It specializes in community, groups, Saturday breakfast and Sunday Brunch. It is a large restaurant seating up to 600 people including an outdoor patio of over 200 seats.

The restaurant is known for its bustling environment and its genuine hospitality.
Supervisory Host - We are looking for a mature experienced hospitality-minded individual to join our management team.

This person will work 5 days a week and be responsible for:

- Recruiting, hiring, and training our host team
- The HotHouse greeting at the door
- Taking reservations
- Open Table platform
- Answering the phone
- Assisting the Events Manager with large reservations
- Assisting in managing and setting up the daily floor plan
- Assisting management with Silverware adjustments
- Managing our Grocery offerings and presentations
- The appearance of the front door
- HotHouse hospitality - the hello and goodbye

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
