NewAge Products is looking for a Inventory Control Manager to join our Supply Chain Team. The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for the accuracy of our perpetual inventory records, with regular reconciliation between our distribution centres and our ERP system. This position will take the lead to ensure that our distribution centres are following the standard operating procedure (SOP) for receiving, storing, counting, and handling inventory accurately in their WMS system, and will carry out any necessary training and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to achieve continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the inventory count process with our network of 7 3PLs and 2 own Distribution Centres, and any additional warehouses that may be opened in the future.
- Lead the maintenance of the accuracy of our inventory records, reconciling our ERP system with each warehouse’s WMS monthly.
- Travel up to 10 times per year to lead and perform audits and counts at our Distribution Centres (average 1 week per trip).
- Utilize strong analytical skills and attention to detail to reconcile our inventory records. Accounting/finance knowledge is a must.
- Monitor the counting process, product handling, and data-entry process at each DC to ensure counts are done correctly and systems are updated on time and without errors.
- Collaborates with warehouse managers to provide performance evaluations and corrective action plans.
- Work closely with external auditors (EY) to provide all documentation needed during our audits.
- Collaborate with the Logistics department to ensure that our distribution centres are following our company’s SOP.
- Manage and coach the Inventory Auditor to identify root-cause of discrepancies and resolve inventory control problems.
- Lead the development and execution of continuous improvement efforts related to Inventory Control.
- Identify internal process gaps affecting our inventory accuracy and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
- Provides leadership to personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication while creating and maintaining a favourable work environment for employees.
- Track and develop KPIs relevant to performance improvement.
- Analytical person with the ability to identify, analyze and develop solutions to problems.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in warehouse/inventory count management
- Experience conducting physical inventory counts and cycle counts
- Travel up to 10 times per year to lead and perform audits and counts at our Distribution Centres (average 1 week per trip).
- Experience using WMS systems and Microsoft Excel, plus the ability to implement and train employees on WMS system
- Strong analytical skills with a financing/accounting background.
- 3PL environment experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Requirements and promote and manage a safe workplace by providing training and creating awareness
- Ability to present ideas in a clear manner to executive leadership, customers, and associates
- Successful management experience including but not limited to leadership, motivational ability, time management, organizational skills, training, and coaching
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and accuracy
