- **Junior Systems Analyst** (Fleet Analyst) to join our Service Enablement
**Fleet Management Team**. We have

We have a rich professional development culture providing excellent opportunities for all team members.- The Junior Systems Analyst works under general direction of the manager and supervision of senior staff. The primary focus of this position will be the deployment and support of computer hardware in a variety of office and lab environments.
- ** **The analyst will be organized, able to professionally interact with clients at all levels of the organization while demonstrating strong technical aptitude, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. The individual working in this role will be expected to be able to lift and transport desktop and laptop computers according to WorkSafeBC safety protocols.**Duties & Responsibilities**

**DUTIES**
**&**
**RESPONSIBILITIES***:

- Deploys computer hardware, peripherals and other specialty computer hardware
- Assists clients with their transition to new hardware
- Assesses, troubleshoots and remediates escalated hardware and software issues
- Coordinates hardware warranty and non-warranty repair work
- Prepares equipment for disposal
- Ensures inventory data is updated
- Generates fleet ad hoc and scheduled reports
- Participates in hardware evaluation activities and vendor roadmap meetings
- Communicates with clients in support of fleet rollout and related activities
- Prepares and maintains relevant internal documentation and external client-facing articles
- Participates in the supervision of student employees
- Supports and coordinates operational work with other IT Services teams as required
- Maintains an organized professional workplace

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM**

**QUALIFICATIONS***:

- Institute of Technology diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in science or business; or
- A minimum of two years current relevant experience in an IT environment similar to BCIT; or
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Must have demonstrated general IT knowledge.
- Proven commitment to providing and maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet changing priorities and multi-task, while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be a team player and work well with cross-departmental teams.
- Commitment to regular ongoing professional development (including specific IT skills, professional associations, and current industry trends).
- High level of professionalism and ethics.

**QUALIFICATIONS***:

- Customer service experience, preferably in an IT field support or computer hardware rollout role or at an IT service desk.
- Ability to plan and schedule work with a broad array of administrative and academic partners who frequently have limited availability.
- Demonstrated technical and client facing documentation experience.
- Experience deploying software images using enterprise tools.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware or software issues for end user devices.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.
- Experience using ticket tracking software.
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (example: Intune, Jamf, SCCM, etc).
- Familiarity with wired and wireless networks and general knowledge of network protocols.
- General knowledge of Active Directory and/or Azure.
- A+, ITIL and/or Help Desk certification(s) preferred.

**Salary Range**
