Safety and Compliance Coordinator

We are looking for a Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our team and work from a location in Mississauga, ON.
The Safety and Compliance Coordinator will develop and implement programs and policies to address fleet maintenance and safety, driver safety, and ensure compliance with regulations related to the transportation industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Driver hiring and onboarding and driver training and orientation.
- Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date; for example current valid Driver's license copy, FAST Card, Passport, etc.
- Monitor and review HOS compliance and accuracy, detect violations in ELD and paper logs, and take appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and US laws and enforce company policies and take disciplinary action when policies are violated
- Manage and supervise all trucks and trailers and have all related documents, authorities, permits, and plates updated in the document binder.
- Licensing and permitting Commercial Tractors and Trailers
- Manage and maintain all tractor and trailer maintenance files. Make the PM and Annual inspection schedule and ensure compliance with the company's maintenance policy.
- Review and follow up on any infractions, claims, convictions, incidents, and accidents as they occur.
- Perform other administrative and general tasks as they arise.
Qualification and Experience:
- Basic Knowledge about trucking and its compliances
- Computer literacy
- Administration
- G license
**Education**:
- High School Diploma or Higher

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
