One of Victoria's most stunning new restaurants, Fathom offers a unique, seafood-forward menu inspired by the rugged West Coast. **Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Oversee restaurant kitchen operations to ensure a high quality of products
- Develop recipes and food presentation specs for Fathom
- Participate in local culinary initiatives to promote Fathom’s cuisine
- Support the Executive Chef with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Conduct monthly staff meetings
- Coach and motivate the Kitchen team to success
- Assist the Executive Chef with scheduling and payroll
- Work with the Executive Chef to prepare the budget
- Assist with stock inventory
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Red Seal certification and at least 7 years of culinary experience in upscale restaurants, with 2 years in a management position
- High level of creativity and experience with menu development
- Hands-on leader with demonstrated coaching skills
- Clear and effective verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Able to produce accurate and timely food costs
- Food Safe certification
- Accountable and professional, with a high level of integrity
