**Title**: Heavy Equipment Operator (Seasonal until January)

**Location**: Miller Waste Systems - Richmond Hill
- Bloomington Compost

**Reporting to**: Operations Manager

**Shift**: Monday to Friday 7:00am
- 5:00pm alternating weekends 7:00am-3:00pm

**Pay Rate**: 21.00

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Equipment Operator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with

occupational Health & Safety Act
- Operating the Front-end loader, Screeners, and various composting equipment.
- Responsible for the timely & efficient processing of materials daily.
- Miller Waste Systems Safety Policies and Procedures compliance as well as continuous improvement to the overall daily operations.
- You will need to be able to work in cooperation with other equipment operators, staff and

customers.

**Requirements**:

- Preference will be given to individuals who have completed a Loader certificate.
- 2 Years Experience
- Previous heavy equipment experience is an asset as well as having a mechanical aptitude and knowledge of loader pre-operative checks.
- Basic computer skills are also required for this position.
- You may be required to work alternate shifts for training purposes, extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Other duties as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outside work in extreme seasonal conditions
