We are looking for a Billing Administrator on a temporary full-time basis.
This position requires Reliability Status security clearance. This is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website.
**What you will do**:
- Prepare monthly billing statements using Microsoft Excel and the Group Billing System (GBS)
- Handling daily inquiries from Clients, Group Sales office and other Canada Life departments.
- Allocate and code payments accurately on Policy Administration System (PAS) and Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
- Handle all Group Client arrears.
- Maintain fees on the ASO system and process amendments, which have a direct impact on the client bill
- Calculate retroactive fees and taxes
- Prepare policy year-end refund audits within the service target date
**What you will bring**:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle pressures of deadlines, fluctuating workloads, and changing priorities
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- High attention to detail and accuracy required
- Well-developed analytical/problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed skills using Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Group Insurance products and TOCS system would be considered an asset
- Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment
- You are comfortable with technology, using multiple computer and business programs
- Bilingual fluency (English & French) would be considered an assetThe base salary for this position is between **$38,300.00**:
- $51,800.00**annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
