We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with department operations and maintenance managers to prioritize maintenance work and communicate needs back through the maintenance organization.
- Schedule and review PM’s planned work orders and communicate with operations and production.
- Identifies parts needed and coordinates with Purchasing.
- Reviews, approves, prioritizes, schedules, and closes corrective work orders.
- Communicate outage maintenance projects.
- Utilizes planning tools to determine parts, materials, rental equipment and/or contractor support necessary for jobs to be performed.
- Participate in improvement opportunities/projects.
- Participate in project teams to develop and implement projects using the latest management tools and techniques.
- Complete safety audits to ensure internal and external resources are complying with safe work practices and permitting requirements.
- Report and communicate safety and performance measurements against objectives.
- Actively use and improve upon existing systems for managing daily operations, including development of standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Provide support for capital project development and implementation.
- Implement systems to improve/sustain results.
- Help develop long-term reliability and asset strategies.
- Assists in planning resources based on maintenance work schedule and capabilities.
- Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) containing details to perform job and field validation.
- Responsible for maintaining the cataloging and inventory of spare parts.
- Responsible for being the gatekeeper of the CMMS program with regards to completion of all work orders, PMs, and defining critical spares.
- Assist Purchasing Coordinator in Daily/Weekly counts of production inventory.
- Receive and store inventory parts.
- Participate in weekly maintenance meetings.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience tracking progress of projects.
- Mechanical maintenance aptitude and troubleshooting / problem solving skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
- Experience preparing project documents.
- Must be willing and able to work in an industrial manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated areas.
- Instill safety as a core value within the team and effectively communicate a shared vision for safety.
- Represent both company policy and direction, as well as actively advocate for
- crew/team needs and concerns.
- Quickly develop thorough knowledge of department and mill operations processes, equipment and systems.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to groups and individuals at all levels.
- Approach positional responsibilities in an inclusive manner by engaging all team members in area, department, etc.
- Work effectively alone or within a team.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Analyze problems and develop solutions independently or with teams.
- Maintain process knowledge and understanding of operations area
- Make timely and effective decisions
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
