Reporting to the Director, the Asset Performance Advisor will support the financial, commercial, and administrative activities required to optimize the entire lifecycle of power assets. They will support obligations related to off-take agreements, leases, financial and contractor agreements, and joint venture governance. This role operates in a fast-paced, growing business unit and requires strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
**What You Will Do**
- Support all commercial matters that require escalation from the site level.
- Contribute to long-range planning and strategy to optimize asset lifecycle, including input into financial models.
- Coordinate value trade-off decisions and support information requests for asset expansions, acquisitions, or divestments.
- Prepare and review new capital project cases.
- Act as Contract Owner for revenue agreements, joint ventures, management agreements, and major service contracts ($1M+).
- Ensure contractual obligations and deadlines are actively monitored and managed, including negotiation and resolution of new contracts and disputes.
**Who You Are**
- You hold a university degree and/or have related experience in finance, business, or engineering.
- Have 4+ years of progressive experience in renewable commercial operations and/or asset portfolio management.
- Display outstanding communication aptitude, both written and verbal, when interacting with internal and external partners.
- Exhibit leadership in teamwork, gap analysis, and solutions delivery; able to influence others and drive recommendations.
- Possess advanced planning, execution, and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Adapt well to changing priorities and show a dedication to continuous improvement of processes, policies, and procedures.
