**Responsibilities**:
- Develop comprehensive user guides, helpdesk articles, playbooks, and release notes for our software products.
- Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect the latest product features, enhancements, and changes.
- Implement version control and documentation best practices to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Craft content with a focus on user experience, ensuring that technical information is presented in an accessible and understandable manner.
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and continuously improve the clarity and effectiveness of documentation
- Work closely with the marketing team to create collateral that effectively communicates the value proposition of our software products to different audiences.
- Collaborate with customer support to address common user queries and incorporate feedback into documentation.
- Establish peer review with the product experience team to ensure documentation is relevant and relatable to target audiences
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of product features, updates, and technical specifications.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- 4 years within a Technical Writing position
- 4 years of experience within the software industry (SaaS experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the SaaS industry, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong understanding of software development concepts and the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly documentation.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, and version control systems.
- Proficiency in maintaining helpdesk or knowledge base libraries such as Zendesk, Intercom, Wordpress or other.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred Skills**:
- 2 years of experience in UX Copywriting
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with graphics and multimedia tools for creating visual aids.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Certification in technical writing or related field.
