**About the Role**

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating flooring installation projects from start to finish. You’ll be the point person balancing customer needs, crew schedules, material deliveries, and installation timing. All to ensure smooth and successful execution.

This is more than just a back-end coordination role—**scheduling directly impacts revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction**. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, purchasing, and installation teams to keep timelines aligned and operations optimized.**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Scheduling**: Develop, maintain, and adjust installation schedules to meet project timelines and client expectations.
- **Crew Coordination**: Assign crews based on skill, product requirements, and availability to maximize efficiency and quality.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Act as the main scheduling contact across sales, procurement, warehouse, installation teams, and clients.
- **Scheduling Software**: Utilize our in-house scheduling software (RollMaster) to manage timelines and job progress. Training provided.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential conflicts or delays and proactively implement solutions.
- **Reporting**: Generate regular updates on project progress, installer capacity, and job forecasting.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling workflows for greater efficiency.
- **Product Insight**: Understand different flooring materials (e.g., carpet, LVT, wood, vinyl, tile) and match appropriate installers to each.

**What Success Looks Like**
- 98% of projects completed on time.
- Installers and crews are consistently booked and satisfied.
- Seamless communication between sales, scheduling, warehouse, and site teams.
- Proactive communication with clients ensures smoother installs and fewer surprises.

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years in scheduling, project coordination, or construction operations.
- Experience with flooring, finish trades, or related sub trades (preferred).
- Comfortable working on a computer, including learning new systems and using scheduling or project management software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, personalities, and moving pieces.
- Confident problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of plans, measurements, and material handling.
- Knowledge of floor covering materials and installation processes (tile, LVT, wood, resilient, etc.).
- G Licensed driver with vehicle and clean driving abstract
