Events Coordinator

Are you an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with a passion for events & connecting with community? Whitewater Brewing Co. is seeking a talented **Event Coordinator** to join our innovative marketing team this summer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in planning, execution, and promotion of various events to help promote our brands in the craft beverage scene. This position is a summer contract role, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic and exciting world of craft beverage events.

**A day in the life**:
As an event coordinator, you will assist in the planning & coordination of both internal and external events, including festivals, promotional events, golf tournaments, and more You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop event concepts, themes, and promotional materials and then bring these ideas to life. You will coordinate event logistics, assist with event set-up/breakdown, and be on-site to ensure smooth execution. In addition to planning & executing events, you’ll will support our event related social media efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.

**Must Haves**:

- Smart Serve Certification
- Driver’s License
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage a small team at larger events.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evening & weekends.

**Nice to Haves**:

- Basic knowledge of event planning principles and practices is preferred but not required.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, hospitality, event management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, customer service, or marketing is a plus but not required.
- Passion for craft beer and spirits is an asset.
