**Position Summary**

Maintain all site construction administrative duties and assist the Site Superintendent(s) as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance as required by the Site Superintendent(s)
- Provide and maintain all administrative duties required for the project and/procedures on Procore related to the project including but not limited to the following:

- Documentation and filing of any project and safety related reporting or procedures
- Maintain a daily construction log in conjunction with Site Superintendent(s)
- Maintain all project related schedule, drawing, test, and inspection logs in conjunction with Site Superintendent(s)
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in conjunction with Site Superintendent(s)
- Prepare and maintain project correspondence as required (i.e., Request for Information)
- Maintain project staff time sheets as required
- Prepare and maintain various files for purchase agreements
- Attend and participate in company and/or site meetings plus prepare meeting agendas and minutes as required by the Site Superintendent(s)
- Direct and supervise site staff and trade labour force as mandated by the Site Superintendent(s)
- Prepare and maintain various communication/ documentation with head office and site
- Co-ordinate with municipal inspections
- Maintain familiarity with safety responsibilities and duties and work in safe manner
- Enforce safety policies as required
- Upholding and adhering to the company policies including a clean and safe work environment
- Time manage yourself with meeting deadlines and project requirements
- Attend and participate in company and/ or site meetings
- Maintain the confidentiality of company information, policies, and procedures
- Other work and tasks related to company’s objective, or as required by the Site Superintendent(s), Project Manager(s) or Sr. Management
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

**Education and Experience**
- High School Education
- College or University Degree in Construction Management or Engineering an Asset
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Ministry of the Environment guidelines;
- First Aid and C.P.R. training;
- Valid Ontario ‘G’ driver’s license.

**Health and Safety**
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the _OHSA_, regulations, and internal policies and procedures;
- Report to his or her supervisor any missing or defective equipment or protective device which could endanger any person;
- Report to his or her manager the contravention of the _OHSA_, regulations, or company H&S policies and procedures or any observed hazard;
- Refrain from operating any equipment, machine, device, or thing or otherwise working in a manner that may endanger anyone;
- Avoid engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct;
- Know, understand, and implement safe work practices and procedures;
- Know, understand, and employ established rules and procedures for handling materials, equipment, and processes (e.g., reporting unlabeled containers, using proper lifting techniques, etc.);
- Request that worn out or defective equipment be replaced;
- Use all safety devices provided, ensuring optimum condition of devices and report any defects immediately to a supervisor;
- Use equipment and materials only in the manner intended;
- Report all injuries, incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions immediately to supervisor;
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures as related to your work area.

**Working Conditions**
- Typical hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; additional hours may be required
- Moderate physical effort. Significant exposure to environmental conditions.
