Services Coordinator

Are you a detail-orientated, multi-tasker who thrives on giving exceptional customer service? SUS is looking for a Services Coordinator to join our team. This role supports the Program and Services team by coordinating UFV Student Unions Society's services including U-Pass, Campus Shuttle, Health and Dental Program, and our IT Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your coordination and project management skills while gaining invaluable experience that will allow you to grow and develop in the fields of student engagement and services coordination.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
The Services Coordinator has specific responsibility for a variety of functions, including but not limited to the following:
- Coordinate the logistics and ensure the effective delivery and quality of SUS Services, including U-Pass, Health & Dental and UFV SUS Campus Shuttle
- Respond to student inquiries and feedback
- Manage the U-PASS Assistant role and support their daily operations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with UFV, StudentCare, BC Transit, and other external partners related to Services
- Work with the Marketing & Communications Team on the promotion of SUS services
- Provide support and coverage for U-Pass distribution and the SUS Information Desk
- Coordinate SUS IT services, including reporting issues, asset management, and basic IT setup
- Generate feedback through research and surveys to identify student needs and evaluate service delivery
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment
- Adhere to UFV and SUS bylaws, policies, and procedures
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the Programs & Services Manager.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
**Education**: Diploma or University Certificate in a related field with at least two years of work experience
**Multitasking & Project Management**: Work on several projects simultaneously
**Stakeholder Relations**:Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, to collaborate on projects and maintain relationships
**Business writing and data analysis**: Analyze data, discern trends, and provide recommendations in a concise manner
**Information Technology Proficiency**: Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets, basic IT problem solving, Outlook, and permissions setup
**Problem-Solving**:Think critically and provide solutions under pressure
**Project Management**: Work independently on multiple projects, set deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities on a daily basis
**Adaptability and Flexibility**: Take on projects with mínimal notice, when necessary, adjust priorities, and prepare backup plans
**Teamwork skills**: Collaborate, and support staff operations at SUS and work actively on improving services offered
**Knowledge of UFV**:Knowledge of the UFV campus, courses, and SUS policies would be an asset
**Work Ethic**: Professional work ethic, exercising good judgment, initiative, and a high degree of professionalism. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
