Property Administrator

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for assigned buildings
- Collects rent, posts cheques and ensures tenant records are up to date
- Produces and tracks invoices related to billable activities as outlined in contractual agreements
- Codes and processes invoices
- Drafts, issues and tracks purchase orders
- Review lease agreements and sets up lease profiles
- Track all tenant monthly rental billings / EFT payments
- Work closely with property manager and accounting department with monthly reporting and budget preparation
- Addresses inquiries from tenants and suppliers
- Provides relief to receptionist as required
- Contacts tenants and contractors to solicit up to date Certificates of Insurance. Ensures all Certificates of Insurance filings are up to date.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
**Requirements**:
- 2-3 years of administrative experience
- Experience in the property management and/or legal field would be an asset
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Comfortable working with numbers, excel formulas, and accounting software
- Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships, team player
- Effective time management, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail; strong organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
- Tenant Statement of Accounts experience would be considered an asset
- Yardi experience would be considered an asset
- Must provide a clean criminal record check
