**Job Title**: Business (Lead) Development Representative
**Location**: PINpoint Information Systems - Burlington, ON (mostly remote) ~ 10% - 20% travel required
**Reports to**: COO
**Salary**: $50,000 plus variable element (up to 50%)
**Function**
Expanding our presence in the Americas is keyl to PINpoint’s growth and success. There is an urgent need to support the sales and marketing function with outbound prospecting, lead follow-up and nurture, and gathering intelligence on potential new customers. Working closely with both sales and marketing functions, this role requires a positive, confident, and commercially astute person that can align with our solutions with the needs of prospective clients. Success will be measured and rewarded based on new pipeline created, and lead and opportunities converted.
**Duties**
- Outbound calling of prospective customers to created qualified leads for sales to follow-up
- Lead follow up from marketing activity, converting MQLs (marketing qualified leads) to SQLs (sales qualified leads), accepted by sales colleagues
- Research customers using all available tools to capture intel to support sales in account planning and determine where to focus effort
- Build/maintain data on potential customers to capture knowledge in HubSpot
- Help to refine approach, reporting and processes to improve efficiency and boost results
- Own the internal process and cadence to hold sales and marketing to account for lead creation and follow-up
- Assist with Partner follow ups and correspondence
- Active involvement in various industry trade shows including travel to respective locations
- Assist with other marketing/sales efforts as necessary including occasional travel to sales meetings
**Skills & Experience**
- 12 or more months sales or business experience in B2B, high-tech sector; software experience is a plus
- Demonstrable understanding of sales principles including demand generation
- Able to clearly communicate and be positively engaging by phone
- Able to generate data, record in HubSpot, and report findings
- General understanding of software, software products, and sales function
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CRM experience and skills (preferably HubSpot)
- Ability to speak Spanish is an asset
- Degree/equivalent

- Demonstrates professional demeanour, conduct, and work ethic
- Well organised and attention to detail
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
