**The Role**:
We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic Junior Digital Media Officer to support our Communications Branch. The Junior Digital Media Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
As the Junior Digital Media officer, you will be responsible for content creation and maintenance of the NRC’s internal and external websites. You will work closely with other digital media officers and advisors to ensure our web presence complies with the Government of Canada web standards (including official languages and accessibility). In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring the team mailbox and tasking incoming requests.

**Education**:
Post-secondary education in communications, design, or in a field relevant to the work to be performed.
An equivalent combination of education and significant experience in a related field may also be considered.

**Experience**:
- Basic recent experience developing web pages with HTML5 coding using publishing tools (Dreamweaver) or a content management systems (Drupal, AEM, etc.).
- Experience in graphic design and/or with multimedia products such as videos, podcasts, and image editing tools.
**Asset**
- Experience with the management of multiple requests and coordination of related activities in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
- Experience managing and monitoring organizational mailboxes

From $71,373 to $76,755 per annum.
In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
