**What You'll Be Doing**:
- You’ll be an active problem-solver for delivery issues, including arranging meetups for drivers, assisting customers with route changes, and sending drivers back for second attempts, among other duties.- You will assign routes to drivers based on a specific day/area according to a weekly game plan and schedule, building on your knowledge each week.- You’ll evaluate and communicate coverage needs and departmental capacity each day.-
- You will be a go-to person for our large fleet of drivers, providing support, addressing issues, and pivoting on the fly while communicating remotely via Slack and phone.- You’ll use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure your work is accurate.- You’ll continuously monitor delivery efficiency and facilitate communication between drivers and customers where needed.- You will estimate ETAs and adjust plans throughout the day to avoid late deliveries.

**What We Are Looking For**:
This individual is experienced in delivery, customer service, and dispatch. They are responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient delivery functions, and are accountable for meeting KPIs including on-time and delivery service rating. They create delivery routes, communicate with drivers, and communicate with customers as needed. They follow and contribute toward departmental processes and standard operating procedures and are able to operate within their job function with little supervision. They escalate to managers when necessary and can be relied upon to properly follow procedures during times of high stress or crisis. They are competent, professional communicators, both written and verbal.
- You have a college or university degree (preferred), or high school diploma and equivalent experience.- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French. Communication is _key_ for this role.- You enjoy a high level of accountability and independence in your work.- You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are able to prioritize tasks as per importance.- You’re tech savvy with good command of Google Suite, particularly spreadsheets, and Slack with an ability to quickly learn new software. You’re a strong, fast typist.- You are confident in communicating clearly with diverse individuals while ensuring the message is received and understood. You’re patient and thoughtful when communicating with newcomers who are learning English/French.- You have a positive, respectful attitude with good people skills.- You are reliable and available to work a consistent Saturday to Wednesday or Sunday to Thursday schedule at 40 hours per week.
- You’re able to commute to our beautiful Montréal facility. Work from home days are also available if you have a comfortable and quiet place to work from home.
