The role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Management and Operations - Organizes and coordinates the activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade of software, hardware and network facilities as it relates to the endpoints environment. - Oversees the daily activities and personnel associated with providing technical support. - Ensures the team meets service level objectives to support CAE business and operations - Assists in the development of processes aligned with the business requirements and provides support in managing objectives for the team - Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient support - Assists in the preparation of operational strategy / roadmap / standards / policies / methodologies and best practices - Ensures highest level of user experience by continuous reviews of users’ surveys / feedback and making appropriate adjustments to improve on services - Collaborates with Global IT teams to ensure alignment - Coordinate the resolution of escalated issues KPI / SLO / IT Compliance Management - Reviews inbound work queues & distribute workload to meet target KPI’s - Reviews and provides service level, metrics and trends to IT management - Adheres to company (and company customers) security requirements (Export Control, Clearance level) Leadership - Sets goals and reviews through 1-1 with staff - Works with team members to ensure career / personal development and engagement - Ensures all staff are trained and aware of policies and practices (including Code of Conduct), and acts as a role model - Reviews and responds to staff comments & feedback using corporate online platform **Your Qualifications** Soft skills - Ability to build relationships and co-operate will stakeholders on all levels (Executives, Managers, Staff, External suppliers and Contract personnel) - Excellent Time management and quick problem-solving skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize intense workload for self and others Technical skills - Experience within IT industry with a record of successful planning and people management - Recognized IT qualifications in ITIL or similar methodologies is an advantage - Working knowledge of Technical management, Support and Projects Management - Experience in reporting, dash-boarding results using BI tools (Power BI) - Experience in coordinating and managing third party vendors and SLA’s - Interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to bridge gaps between the business and technical people Join the driver of change at CAE: our next growth horizon will be reached above all through digital innovation for our customers' success.
