Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled **Associate Import Coordinator** to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll manage critical import processes, collaborating with factories in China to ensure timely and high-quality garment production. If you’re organized and passionate about apparel, this is your opportunity to shine in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- **Submit Tech Packs**: Prepare and send detailed tech packs to factories in China to initiate product development.
- **Negotiate Terms**: Secure competitive prices and delivery schedules with overseas suppliers.
- **Manage Purchase Orders**: Create and submit purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production needs.
- **Oversee Production**: Track garment production stages (lab dips, fits, pre-production samples, and top-of-production samples) to maintain quality and timelines.
- **Coordinate with Factories**: Communicate daily with factories to ensure deliveries are on schedule and resolve any issues promptly.
- **Maintain Records**: Document all import activities and communications accurately in company systems.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience in the apparel industry, with a focus on import coordination or production management.
- **Language Skills**: Fluency in written and spoken English to facilitate effective communication with factories in China. (Mandarin is a plus)
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- **Skills**:

- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with suppliers.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- **Tools**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is a plus.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
