Hespeler Medical Clinic is a busy, 13 physician family practice located in Cambridge. We have an immediate opening for an experienced and reliable Medical Receptionist.

**Summary**

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for maintaining physician patient flow and assuming other responsibilities consistent with the job classification. This role functions autonomously and collaboratively with patients, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

Develop and maintain relationships within the health care team; physicians, interdisciplinary health providers, and administrative team.
- Assist with clerical/administrative support to patients, families, staff and physicians.
- Manage, schedule and maintain appointment calendars for physicians and allied health professionals.
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
- Present a positive and professional image of the office to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries and other interactions.
- Other duties and tasks as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Education**:

- Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in primary health care field an asset.
- Proficiency in use of computer software, PS Suite experience an asset.

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Ability to function effectively and efficiently both independently and as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.05 per hour
