Business Operations Manager- Accounting Services

**The Opportunity**:
Our client is a well-established accounting firm committed to providing personalized financial solutions for individuals and business alike. With a focus on integrity and attention to detail, they offer a range of services including tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and business services, audits and advisory.
In this newly created position, the Operations Manager will report to the General Partner and oversee this firm's daily business operations. The focus being to ensure the company is operating in an efficient and effective manner to provide the quality service offerings they've been known for over the years. This role includes but is not limited to overseeing the accountant teams, optimizing client workflows, managing business performance and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
**What You'll Do**:
Responsibilities include:
- **Operational Oversight**: Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.
- **Technology **and Process Integration/ Implementation: Manage the transition of new processes and technology that will improve client services
- **Team **Management: Manage and support accountants (6 full time) to ensure they are working within established processes and managing client outflows in alignment with company standards
- **Process Improvement**: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- **Leadership**: Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- **Budget **Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the operational budget, monitoring expenses and resource allocation.
- **Client Relations**: Collaborate with client-facing teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and address client needs.
- **Reporting and Analytics**: Analyze operational performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
**What You Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years Proven experience in operations management within an accounting, legal or financial services environment.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices will be beneficial
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
