This role is ideal for a CPA‑designated professional who excels in full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement within a fast‑paced environment.About the RoleIn this position, you will oversee full‑cycle accounting, prepare monthly financial statements, perform complex reconciliations, and support regulatory filings, audits, and system enhancements. You’ll work closely with leadership, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full‑cycle accounting, including bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, AP/AR, and tax‑related reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages on tight timelinesComplete GST/HST and other tax filingsSupport year‑end reviews/audits with working papers and documentationAssist in budgeting, variance analysis, and ad‑hoc financial reportingMentor junior team members and support ongoing process improvementsParticipate in system enhancements and internal control initiativesWhat You Bring3+ years of post‑designation experienceStrong knowledge of ASPE; IFRS/US GAAP exposure is an assetExperience in public accounting as well as industryAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with mid‑tier ERPs (Business Central, Sage 50, or similar)Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentDisclaimer:This is currently for an active job opportunity.By applying, you will be part of our trusted network, ensuring our recruiters match you with suitable roles.
