We are on the hunt for an experienced **Business Development Manager** with at least three years of professional experience building relationships and sales. We are looking for some show & tell where you’ve inspired clients, have managed the complete sales process, with some impressive results to back it up.

**Your Background**:

- You have 3+ years’ experience in Sales (Kitchen Industry/Construction Industry/Design preferred, but not required)
- You have the ability to easily build long lasting client relationships
- You love learning personally and professionally and you seek to always improve and better yourself
- You can see the bigger picture at 30,000 feet and can zero in on the details without getting stuck
- You’re personable and know how and when to turn on your networking skills
- You desire to work in a fast-paced team and drive change with multiple projects that contribute to the greater good of the team and organization
- You have a track record of excellent relationship management and proven results
- You are a technology titan and love learning new systems and processes
- You have the willingness to learn and live the organizational values

**What you will do**:

- Build meaningful relationships with Builders, Contractors, Designers and Homeowners
- Assist in creating beauty from designs and add value through the design process
- Exceed customer expectations in showroom/on-site presentations
- Business Development through research, prospecting, events, etc.
- Build and maintain a book of business, through prospecting, networking, etc.
- Delight the customer through a full cycle of interaction (first contact, design stage, sale, project installation and completion)
- Deliver our customer’s vision through knowledgeable consultation throughout the entire process
- Review files for completeness of information and correct discrepancies
- Produce accurate estimates of submitted projects
- Communicate with site and production staff with regards to installation and design requirements
- Maintain accurate CRM data
- Assist relevant parties in troubleshooting any issues pertaining to an order
- Schedule appointments and meetings with clients and potential clients
- Identify industry trends and communicate findings to the team
- Report to the Vice President on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Attend industry networking events when applicable

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or similar hunting role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls, networking, events, etc.)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Insured Roadworthy Vehicle

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
