Join our commitment to providing exceptional food service to the best of business and industry. **Job Summary**: How you will make an Impact: Our Bookings Supervisors are the first point of contact for our bookings team. This position requires a very special skill set and personality. Overseeing the event requests and inquiries requires solution-based thinking, speed and sense of urgency while following timelines, as well as a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. This is a leadership role that requires managing the on-site staff and keeping everyone on task, while also overseeing the entire scope of event bookings and liaising with our clients. **As a Booking Supervisor you will**: - Commit to support and enforce Service Excellence. - Have a pleasant, calm and friendly manner; a good memory; initiative; exhibit innovation, creativity, and flexibility; and foremost, a winning attitude. - Delegate tasks to staff and following timelines to ensure tasks are completed - Be able to work as a team as well as an individual - Be able to work well "on the fly" and take direction from management team as it comes. - Fluent in bookings software with an attention to detail and ability to train staff - Confident with Microsoft Office programs - High level of food & beverage knowledge - Knowledge of event room set ups and layouts - Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write fluent English - Ability to anticipate, eliminate and defuse any bookings issues and problematic situations. - Ability to review and understand function sheets according to outlined requests (i.e. room set-ups of tables, chairs, linens, silverware, etc). - Will attend the function-briefing meetings in order to be prepared for all daily service needs. - Will adhere to the guidelines of conduct as set out in the rules and regulations of the Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual. - Provide a professional attitude and proper uniform when on-site. - Perform any all other duties as requested by the managers. **About you**: - Min of 1 year of Event Bookings experience - Ideally a min of 2 years of food & beverage industry experience. - Able to communicate effectively and must possess strong customer service skills. - Able to work independently and as part of a team. - Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, problem-solving and completing multiple tasks with priority and deadline. - Able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings.
