**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team.

This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, quality control measures, and the ability to work with plastic extrusion tools and equipment.

We are looking for people with **positive attitude**, that can perform a variety of tasks at a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Shift: Days 7:00am to 3:00pm - some flexibility needed per business requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
- Start up the lines and assure good quality of product
- Check schedule and do change overs in time and with proper tools
- Provide coverage in the absence of Supervisor
- Preventative maintenance work like changing blades and gaskets on vacuum tanks
- Quality control checks
- Work with dyes and chemicals (like chlorine) and add colour in hoppers.
- Respond to whistle to investigate and help
- Diligently follow the GMP’s and IFS policies
- Other duties as set out by shift Supervisors or Production Coordinator.

**Experience**
- Experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with plastic extrusion and/or injection molding is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude (be able to make small repairs) and support maintenance personnel when needed
- Familiarity with quality control processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Solid communications skills (written & verbal).

Pay: From $17.29 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
