Evolve Recycling is Canada's leader in tire recycling turning used tires into usable products such as multi-purpose matting, artificial sports surfaces, and other innovative products. We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators with previous experience.

**Shift**:

- Straight Continental Day Shift / 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- No rotating shifts
- $1.00 increase after 3 months
- $2.00 increase 1 year later

**Your Role**:

- Monitor machines to ensure equipment is running properly
- Increase production output by completing department tasks and assisting other operators when necessary
- Complete daily pre-start checks on machine
- Troubleshooting will be required to maintain targeted output
- Assist with scheduled maintenance bi-weekly
- Inspect product to verify quality of materials
- Work with the team to ensure a safe working environment

**Requirements**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility as a machine operator is preferred
- Takes initiative and assists where needed
- Fast learner with the ability to meet production targets
- Knowledge of, and experience in, properly identifying root causes negatively impacting production
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a small team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
