Golden Parrots Pub is looking to hire passionate cooks who are team players whom communicate efficiently and effectively with the kitchen and front of house staff. Prep and cleaning may also be apart of the position (depending on experience level). We offer Sundays off, free meal every shift, discount on food when off shift, weekly cash tip out, a regular schedule, on-site parking, and a fun working environment. We are approximately a 85% made from scratch kitchen, with a variety of gluten-free and gluten-friendly items.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food as directed, as well as meeting dietary requirements when required
- Following recipes and presentation specifications
- Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain work station in practicing food safety and sanitation
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Open availability is an asset, as we often share the opening and closing shifts between all of our line cooks. Part time and full time positions are available. Reliable transportation is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Casual
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
