Take responsibility for the smooth running of our office, where your professionalism, initiative and office skills are welcomed.

This is an autonomous role and you need to be comfortable being independent and making decisions. This position will suit you if you have good interpersonal skills and office management experience. You will need to be self-directed and have organizational and problem-solving skills.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Answering phones
- Interacting with customers and staff
- Balancing monthly bank statements
- Bank deposits
- Payroll for all staff including owner-operator truck drivers
- Create cross-border paperwork for truck drivers
- Assist in scheduling/dispatching truck drivers
- Ordering permits for truckers as needed
- Quarterly Fuel Tax and Carbon Tax prep and filings
- Run every day errands
- Communicate with accountants as needed
- Complete year end filing

Required Skills & Abilities:

- Knowledge in Sage 50 or other similar accounting programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fast, organized, and efficient
- Team player, but able to do independent work
- Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Managerial and/or administrative experience is not required, however, is considered an asset

Benefits available after 3-months.

Salary will be based on education and experience.

Hours: Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
