Toronto, Canada Grand Touring Automobiles (Toronto) Full time

Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst is involved in a full range of duties relating to financial reporting and budgeting for multiple dealerships across the organization. The Financial Analyst will support the entire Finance Department to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.

**Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- CPA designation or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an accounting role
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Accounting Programs and Financial Statement preparation and review
- Ability to multi-task with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on variance analysis
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Experience with automotive accounting is an asset

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Preparation and review of financial statements for multiple companies, including preparation of month-end journal entries
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of accounting functions
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for multiple dealerships
- Preparation and analysis of various management reports
- Identifies trends by analyzing financial results and monitoring variances
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets for multiple dealerships
- Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures, with a focus on internal controls
- Provide financial expertise in budgeting and accounting for management team
- Cross training in all accounting departments to ensure adequate coverage of office positions
- Other duties as required

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Financial Analyst: 3 years (required)
- Accounting: 5 years (required)
- Automotive Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
