**Some of what you will do**:
The Design Services Consultant will create custom designs for our small business customers and partner with our inside & outside sales team to provide further services and design. You enable our work, learn, and grow culture for our customers and associates. Passionate about design and print production, you continuously grow your knowledge by committing to ongoing self-development and share your expertise with your team members. You will be responsible for connecting with customers or inside and outside sales team to understand their graphic design needs, share your expertise and provide suggestions to enhance the customer’s design.

**Specifically, You Will**:
**Design: 50%**
- Ensure brand consistency, be the brand guardian to ensure effective messaging and strong brand recognition for the customer.
- Create or Re-create artwork requirements to meet customer requests.
- Ensure accuracy and quality for all designs.
- Provide suggestions to enhance customers design.

**Customer Discovery: 15%**
- Collaborate with inside sale teams, outside sales teams and customers to understand scope of design project.
- Excellent customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout the full design process.
- Connect, Share, and Partner with customers, inside sale teams, outside sales teams to discover other opportunities to enhance the customer’s design or offer other related design projects.
- Provide custom design solutions to meet and/or exceed customer needs.
- Consult with customers, inside sales and outside sales teams to brainstorm ideas, review brand compliance of customer, and determine overall needs and timelines of projects.
- Connect, Share, and Partner with customers to discover sales opportunities in-scope of teams product assortments or collaborate with inside sales and outside sales teams to help the customer get the product or service needed.

**Administrative Tasks: 35%**
- Complete follow-ups for requests
- Correctly capturing all details of the request and update systems accordingly
- Collaborate with vendors & inside sales and outside sales teams to ensure correct information is submitted
- Creation and maintenance of files designs
- Calculate and track cost associated with time spent on design
- Coordinating with 3rd party designers or vendors to ensure design requests are competed correctly and in project timeline

**Some of what you need**:

- Post Secondary education with a degree or diploma in graphic design
- Strong layout and design capabilities
- Strong knowledge of Digital Design (Infographics, social media posts)
- Knowledge in photo retouching and restoration
- Strong creative vision
- Strong working knowledge or design software (Adobe Creative Suite) & Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong grasp of colour theory, typography print production and principles of design.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional organizational, file management skills, and detail-oriented
- Confident multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Solid design and conceptual skills with an acute interest in current design trends.

Bilingual English/French - verbal & written communication
- Graphic Design Experience (3+ years)
- Customer Service (1+ years)
- Print Production is an asset
