North Bay, Canada Ontario Electrical League - Head Office Full time

The Ontario Electrical League is a member based not-for-profit association that connects and unites the Electrical Industry. Memberships are held by Electrical Contractors, Mechanical Contractors, Utilities, Manufacturers, Manufacturers Agents, Distributors, Safety Authority Representatives, Engineers, Instructors and more.

We are currently hiring a part-time (3 days a week) Member Services Representative for a eight month contract, with an opportunity to become full time.

**Responsibilities**
Include but not limited to:
**OEL Members**
- Communicate membership benefits to prospects and answer questions they have.
- Update and keep current the member accounts in the on-line sales platform
- Encourage member participation at events
- Assist members with their requests
- Serve as liaison between the OEL Provincial Office and Members
- Prepare and Participate as a Vendor or Attendee at OEL Distributor/Service Member Trade Shows & Events, and follow-up with correspondence

**Chapter Meetings and Other Events**
- Assist Chapter Executive with planning and executing chapter events (monthly meetings, trade shows, golf events etc.)
- Where there is no executive, take on full responsibility for planning and executing events
- Attend and support Chapter and other events
- Promotion of events to members and prospects
- Assist chapter with finding replacement executive members
- Serve as liaison between OEL Provincial Office and Chapter

**Employer Engagement Program**
- Outreach the benefit of hiring apprentices to current members and prospect contractors
- Advise contractors on available services from Support Ontario Youth
- Sign contractors into current EEP program
- Assist with administration follow up for forms completion and submission
- Facilitating contractor support for research by identifying and recruiting contractors willing to volunteer for studies or events

**Requirements**:

- Must reside in a community located in or north of Barrie (or in Muskoka, Parry Sound, North Bay or Sudbury)
- Able to work in a home office environment
- Own your own vehicle with a willingness to travel (and stay overnight when required) C
- Comfortable with Public Speaking and Presenting
- Sales Experience is preferred by not required Experience or knowledge of the construction industry preferred by not required

**Compensation**
- 30K salary with the potential for a year-end bonus, medical and dental plan. Cell, internet and travel expenses paid.
