Step into a role where you don’t just support a team, you elevate it.
At Virtus Group, we are more than accountants; we are trusted advisors. We have a team-first mindset, deep-rooted community values and deliver exceptional service by investing in exceptional people. If you are looking for a role where your skills are appreciated, your days are dynamic and your work makes a difference, Virtus Group could be the perfect fit.
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Administrative Specialist to join our team and elevate our manager group. This isn’t your average admin role. You will be managing key touch points with clients and ensuring everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. Your work will help our managers deliver top tier service.
What you'll bring to the team
- 5 + years of administrative experience (ideally in a public accounting firm or professional services environment).
- A solutions focused mindset - you can take direction, anticipate needs and bring order to complexity.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Sharp attention to detail and a knack for keeping multiple deadlines on track.
- Professionalism, initiative, and the confidence to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and deliver tailored support by understanding the unique needs of each team member and client.
- A communication style that is clear, precise, and professional - building trust, ensuring accuracy, and representing the firm in a positive manner.
How you'll support our professional team
- Providing support to managers with client files - from requesting records and preparing invoices to coordinating year-end packages and follow ups with clients.
- Managing day-to-day admin tasks - handling mail, inputting new clients, compiling reports and preparing expense submissions.
- Providing general admin support and coverage for other Admin Specialists.
At Virtus Group, culture isn’t just a buzzword, it’s what sets us apart. We’re a Saskatchewan grown firm that invests in people, values work-life balance and builds strong internal teams. You’ll work with a crew that genuinely cares, in an environment where your work directly supports the success of our managers as well as our clients.
Join us and be a part of a firm that’s local, trusted, and built on relationships.
