Pension Specialist – Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Join the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation as a Pension Specialist to support teachers’ retirement benefits. Pay Range Base pay: CA$66,961.46 – CA$86,942.82 per year. Purpose of the Organization The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation has advanced the interests of teachers and advocated for excellence in public education for more than 90 years. We represent over 13,500 teachers employed in Pre‑K‑12 schools across the province. Responsibilities & Qualifications Hold an undergraduate degree in economics or commerce, combined with 3–4 years of related pension experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desirable: A Pension Plan Administration Certificate or equivalent. Candidates without a designation will be required to enroll and successfully complete the certification. Strong interpersonal skills with members, employees at all organizational levels, and officials of other organizations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Demonstrated skill in arithmetic and mathematics. Experience with an automated pension administration system. Ability to interpret and apply pension plan legislation, plan text, and policies. Good knowledge of pension plan administration principles, techniques, and practices. High work standards, mature judgment, initiative, and motivation. Ability to work effectively as a team member and organizational skills. Benefits Salary within the range of CA$66,961.46 – CA$86,942.82 per year. 4 weeks of starting vacation and paid time off. 100% employer‑paid benefits from day one.
