Administrative Specialist

Facilitate and support client and supplier administration and shipping logistics
- Contribute to month-end and year-end processes including: establishing timelines for deliverables;
- preparing journal entries, research and resolving issues
- Support CFO in accounting and general administration functions
- Understand relationships between the separate general ledger systems
- Establish in-depth understanding of accounting software specific to North Star Systems
- Establish in-depth understanding of inventory parts and final products specific to North Star Systems
- office supplies, meeting organization, postal duties, etc.
- Drive process improvement activities by leading or supporting projects andother initiatives
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in administration
- Experience with MS Outlook, Excel and other Office tools (PowerPoint, Word)
- Degree or Diploma in accounting, agriculture, commerce or other relevant accreditation is an asset
- Experience in the following areas will be extremely helpful, but not required
