**Position**: Transportation Driver for Seniorsor Adults with a Disability
**Location**: Elgin County (St. Thomas, Aylmer Area)

**About the Role**:
As a Transportation Driver, you will play a crucial role in helping our senior community members maintain their independence and stay connected with essential services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and reliable transportation for seniors to medical appointments, grocery stores, social events, and other important destinations. Volunteers will either drive their personal vehicles or VON's mini van.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport seniors to and from their destinations.
- Assist seniors with getting in and out of the vehicle as needed.
- Ensure a friendly and respectful environment during rides.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with up-to-date insurance and registration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to commit to a regular schedule (flexible hours available).
