**Job Description Overview**:
If you’re someone who can work with little to no supervision and have the ability to turn needs and requirements into appealing offers, this is the ideal job opportunity for you Reporting to the Manager of Sales Operations, and as a member of the Sales team, The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for producing all types of standard and non-standard commercial proposals. When producing proposals, the Business Development Coordinator will collect all pertinent information, produce the pricing sheet, draft the proposal, and ensure it is reviewed and approved by all required stakeholders.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review and understand internal requests and/or customer requirements
- Review account history to ensure consistency in pricing and response
- Actively participate in the proposal strategy definition by researching internal and external information, proposing ideas, options and creative ways to present proposals and pricing, keeping in mind the company customer differences in culture
- Prepare and publish a project schedule to ensure the proposal will be delivered before or on the due date and time
- Assist the manager in coaching, developing, and mentoring the junior team members
- Work on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Work on proposal templates and content
- Identity requires approvers and initiate the approval process
- Draft answers to standard and complex technical and commercial requirements, and integrate input from other stakeholders to ensure a homogeneous and accurate offer that respects corporate standards
- Daily monitor for multi RFI/RFP/RFQ/bid websites and manage them from A to Z.
- Coordinate the above among Sales, Service and Product teams within the Company.

**Required Knowledge, Years of Education, Work Experience, Skill Sets, and/or Certification**:

- Relevant college (CEGEP) or University degree in Administration, Marketing, or Finance
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) English, French an asset
- At least between 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Good understanding of pricing models and strategies, tenders and proposals.
- Good understanding of the customers’ internal or external needs and requirements
- Pursue everything with energy, drive and a proactive “can-do” attitude; anticipate emerging issues and prepare to address them
- Good cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good understanding of contracting concepts, including financial and legal instruments
- Written and verbal communication skills in English, French an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Works at ASUS Markham office 5 days / Week
