Life Inc. Benefit Solutions, a subsidiary of People Corporation, is a Group Insurance and Pension Broker servicing First Nation Employers across Canada. We specialize in designing programs that consider NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) and create equality for Indigenous and non-Indigenous employees.
We are looking to add a **Service Coordinator** to our growing team in Winnipeg. The Service Coordinator is part of enthusiastic high-achieving team dedicated to creating a positive client experience. The key to our success is the exceptional service this role provides to our valued clients.
**What you will do**:

- Utilize your top-notch organizational skills to ensure timely collection and processing of paperwork.
- Process all paperwork relating to group insurance, retirement transition & pension; collecting missing information, preparing the files for submission to the insurer & follow-up arrears and pension remittances.
- Coordinate dental and health care claims for our clients including communicating with practitioners & clients
- Troubleshoot and respond to client inquiries in a polite and courteous manner
- Provide support to our Service Team assisting with the planning of employee meetings, planning administrator training and providing information in response to processing
- Take a collaborative & solution-based approach to client inquiries and engage members of our team to assist in resolving and answering client questions or concerns.
- Assist in new implementation of group insurance and retirement plans
- Assist with Annual Information Returns, BEB and Schedule of Contributions reports
- Assist with group insurance and pension deductions
- Scan and process incoming / outgoing forms and handling administrative requests
- Backup for our receptionist; providing backup support for incoming calls, courier prep and other misc. tasks
- Other duties as assigned

- Proficiency with the MS Office suite of products
- Self-driven to maintain your desk in meeting deadlines, promises and follow-up commitments.
