**Purpose**
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial and education records to ensure the financial health of the organization through meticulous bookkeeping and financial management while also, ensuring the smooth operation of education services and support for students, training supervisors/members and the CCSA team.
**Job Summary**
The **Finance and Education Coordinator** is responsible for managing the organization's financial records, including recording transactions, creating and sending invoices, managing electronic payment processing, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The **Finance and Education Coordinator** must have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software.
The **Finance and Education Coordinator** is also responsible for managing education programs, coordinating educational activities, and providing administrative support to the CCSA Team. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with students, CCSA members, the CCSA Team, and external vendors. The **Finance and Education Coordinator** must have experience in educational administration and a thorough understanding of education policies and procedures.
The **Finance and Education Coordinator**must have proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response. The **Finance and Education Coordinator**must have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and have experience as an executive or administration coordinator in the past. Ultimately, the **Finance and Education Coordinator**is accountable for ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
- Effectively and efficiently manage time to achieve CCSA’s Strategic Plan and performance excellence, maintaining work/life balance, meeting member needs, managing calendar/schedule, providing follow-up and responding to enquiries / requests for support.
- Maintain and support continuous improvement of CCSA website.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including EFT.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting.
- Assist CCSA bookkeepers to review and adjust financial transactions.
- Coordinate education programs, events and activities.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with CCSA training policies.
- Schedule classes and manage CCSA course calendars.
- Provide education administrative support to the CCSA Team.
- Organize and participate in education events and meetings.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other education documents.
- Assist with student registration and enrollment processes.
- Assist with training supervisor/administrator set up, student registration and student records processes.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Make recommendations to leadership regarding LMS changes based on developments in operational needs.
- Coordinate LMS change requests with the CCSA team and CCSA’s LMS vendor.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in finance and education administration/support or in similar role/roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
- Proficiency in learning management system software.
- Proficiency in website administration.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite, MS Excel and other financial or educational tools/software.
- Knowledge of education policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
