Marketing Specialist

**What You Will Be Doing**:
Working in a hybrid work model requiring in-office work a minimum 3 days per week in Guelph.

You must be able to reliably commute to the office a set 3 days per week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are our in-office work days.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee communications calendar, writing marketing content for e-blasts, newsletters, success stories, collateral, and campaigns.
- Grow online community engagement using social media platforms and a focus on LinkedIn.
- Support lead generation through website optimization, SEO, and advertising.
- Enhance the Fill it Forward app user experience by supporting in-app communications, engagement strategies, and user-focused content.
- Create go-to-market promotion strategies by collaborating with product development and sales.
- Improve customer journey and conversion at tradeshows with creative print and digital marketing assets.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Some travel is required._

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools.
- Attention to detail and project management skills.
- 1-3 years of Communications Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in marketing, business, journalism, design, or a related field.

**Experience that sets you apart**:

- Experience in B2B marketing and communications, crafting client-facing content to support customer relationships and engagement.
- Passion for sustainability and social responsibility.
- CRM experience (Zoho, MailChimp, Salesforce).
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Suite, WordPress, Shopify, and Hootsuite.
- Event or trade show marketing experience.
